When brainstorming, don’t execute

It is time for you to collect all ideas and all the possibility to develop a case and propose the solution. You don’t need to think far forward because everything always comes step by step.

Referencing, not copy cat

When something comes to you on your less potential, you will search on google engine and find many image and information that ever exist. But you are just to see the references and you don’t copying the idea.

Referencing is your time to find all solution and idea that ever known, not for your time to get a fix image. You should think that you can make better than things that ever exist and go away of your mind to just use the supplied image at google engine for your final artwork.

Don’t be lazy to sketches

Sketch is about visualizing what is on your mind and delivered it to a simple image. Sketch is something that will remind you for something that you might forget. And from this sketch you will upgrade your visual until you find the perfect image that present your goal.

Seeing objectively

When you decide to become a designer you must realize that design is for people or mass, not for individual consumption. So when you develop an idea and find the execution, you must see it objectively. You can’t decide what your likeness is and bring it to the client with reason that you like it, it is really unprofessional. You must seeing it in many direction, depend on background, culture, habit and many more so you can decide what’s visualization that sync and you will use it to touch the target audience.

Be nice with detail

Something simple is better because it doesn’t make audience confused. But the simplest thing that you must care is about your detail. Don’t be lazy or miss your best point of detail on your design. Sometimes details aren’t shown at other people, but sometimes a little miss on your detail can damage you and become your enemies.

Sync the visual idea with material

When you want to share a gift to someone, you want that gift shown perfect. And that happens on design, either. When you delivered it to the client, both of us want to be appreciated. The designer wants to be seen as perfect as they think and the client want to be appreciated with designer’s work. So the designer must think inside and outside, think about what will happen if clients see it and what will happen if clients touch it. And each other, design and material will work mutualism, so that one can support the other and otherwise. Just use all your senses.

Present it confidently

After through a hard phase to create a visual you will feel free and light because you have success the process. But truly, process isn’t finish here. There is the last thing that you can’t ignore, it is your presentation in front of the client. You must give a full effort for this time because when you present it weakly maybe your client can shoot you and distrust you well, but when you can present it with full of confidence I’m sure your client will happy to be presented and believe you because your words are trustful.

What are you scared for, you have already done all the phase when creating your visual, haven’t you? It’s all just fine, let’s appreciate your hard work and proud of yourself and your visual.
